Additional Information: | 2017 This two-story cube residence, constructed c.1890, is clad in cream brick and rests on a stone foundation. Asphalt shingles covered the hip roof, which has a central brick chimney. A hip roof dormer on the front (west) façade has walls clad in wood shakes. A hip roof porch with a concrete block foundation, and replacement wood posts, valences, and balustrade, spans the front (west) façade, accessed via concrete steps. A modern second-story porch extends on the rear (east) elevation and the windows on the side (north) elevation are covered with wood. Window openings have segmental arch brick headers and generally contain one-over-one, double-hung vinyl replacement sash, although paired four-light fixed-sash are found in the dormer. A c.1920 one-story outbuilding with a poured concrete foundation, vertical wood siding, and an asphalt gable roof is located to the rear (east) of the house. |
