NOTES
Additional Information:2023: In 1973, a fire destroyed the 1906 Frankel building and the 1927 A & P store that previously stood at this location. The following year, the subject building was built and housed Spiess Sporting Goods Store, which had been located in the Frankel Building. DeByle's clothing store, which was previously located across the street at the southeast corner of E. Wall & Railroad streets, moved into the building circa 1980. DeByle's, which began in Rhinelander in 1926, had been located in Eagle River since at least the 1940s. In 2002, Illinois-based Glik's purchased DeByle's in both Eagle RIver and Rhinelander, making them the first two Glik's locations in the state of Wisconsin.
