Additional Information: | This two-story farmhouse has a large, three-bay, two-story main block with a one-and-one-half story side wing with three windows across the front. Two rows of molded brick form segmental arches over the windows and doors, except for the windows on the front of the wide wing, which have one row of molded bricks, probably to accommodate the roof of the front porch which once extended across this wing. The center window was once a doorway. Two quarter-round lunettes, each with four paned sash, light the attic in the front gable. Most other sash are six-over-six double-hung units; the front door originally has sidelights which have been replaced with glass block. A frame garage has been attached to the rear. There are several frame agricultural buildings on the property (barn, machine shed, and smokehouse) |
