Additional Information: | The Camp Badger School building was constructed in 1927 in a One Story Cube style. Two large additions project from the west elevation of the original school building and more than triple the size of the original building’s footprint. The historic building mass is rectangular in plan with brick walls and an asphalt-shingled hipped roof. Windows in this portion of the building are 6-over-1 with three individual windows in the façade and two banks of three windows in the east elevation. An enclosed entry bay projects from the west end of the façade; this contains a replacement metal security door with insensitive clapboard surround. The modern additions to the building were constructed in stages between the late 1950s and the early 1990s (the largest of these occurred between 1987 and 1995). The additions have brick, concrete, and clapboard walls and flat and hipped roofs. A modern deck projects from the north (rear) elevation of the westernmost addition. |
