Additional Information: | Historic name interpreted from historic plats. Circa construction dates implied through observation. This site consists of two small, wooden structures. One is a gabled shed with wide, horizontal board siding and a hinged, horizontal board door. The other is a shed-roof outhouse consisting of a narrower, horizontal board siding. These are likely remnants of a farmstead. By 1890, James Duffy was the owner of the property; he was a farmer and stock breeder who raised Hambletonian horses, Durham cattle, Cotswold sheep and Poland-China hogs. |
