From the 1975 Houses of Worship survey: ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Good example of a Georgian Revival church, constructed of red face brick with buff Indiana limestone portico and trim. Construction date, 1929. (1, 2) W. W. Oeflein, Builder. (1,2) 4th Church of Christ Scientist, Church, 1929-present. (1) The church was locally designated in 1996."
