Additional Information: | ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: Excellent example of this type of eave front bungalow; extremely unusual bellcast roof. Construction date, 1922. (1) Joseph Polczinski, Original Owner, 1922. (2) Resurveyed April 2017; subsequent alterations include the addition of vinyl siding throughout (including the dormer which was originally clad in wood shingle). This 2-story Craftsman house was constructed in 1922. It is rectangular in plan with vinyl siding an asphalt-shingled side-gabled roof with exposed rafter ends and flared slopes. The front elevation faces west and is asymmetrical in plan with a recessed porch at the north end. South of the porch is a bank of four 9-over-1 windows. A hipped roof dormer projects from the front roof slope and contains a bank of three 6-over-1 windows. |
