NOTES
Additional Information:The Cohen Block is a two-story red brick building constructed in the twentieth century commercial style. The building has a simple cornice and three sets of openings separated by shallow pilasters. The openings have been filled in with modern sashes. The building has a modernized storefront with central entrances.

The Cohen Block has some architectural interest as a good example of the Twentieth Century Commercial style and contributes to the architectural significance of the Main Street Historic District. It was the city's first formal armory and it was a long-time movie theater. The building was constructed to be leased to the city's new National Guard unit in 1920. In 1926, the building was renovated into a movie theater. The building is significant for its association with the development of the National Guard in Waupaca and with the development of entertainment facilities in the city.
