HISTORICAL SIGNIFICANCE:

Purchased by the Milwaukee State Teachers College (precursor of UWM) and used as a cooperative dormitory for women between 1944 and 1964, when it became quarters for Peace Corps volunteers. It has since housed various UWM offices.
