| Additional Information: | ARCHITECTURAL SIGNIFICANCE: An excellent period residence designed with English Arts and Crafts elements. Construction date, 1913. (1) The basement was finished and there was a wine cellar in there. On the wall of the wine cellar was a mural of a handlebar mustached muscle man, very much in the style of the turn of the last century. Quite charming. Also the double sink in the laundry room had a built in washboard - just like the one invented by Sarah Lockwood Pardee Winchester of the Winchester House. (2) |
