Additional Information: | 1999- "This one-and-one-half story frame cross gabled building was built c. 1910 and features a front gabled roof with cross gable dormers on the east and west sides. Queen Anne styling is evidenced by droplap wood siding, fishscale shingle detailing located in the gable ends, cornice work on the porch, and window hoods. The front porch is enclosed and is wrapped with a ribbon of one-over-one double-hung sash windows. There is a gambrel frame barn built c.1910 located at the rear of the property. The front of the building is obscured by overgrown vegetation." -"Allenton 7.5, Washington Co.", WisDOT#1412-02-00, Prepared by Mead & Hunt, Inc., (1999). |
