NOTES
Additional Information:1999- "This one-story brick vernacular commercial building was built in 1919 by Joseph Ruf as a garage/new car showroom. The building has a stepped false-front that masks a rounded asphalt shingle roof. The front facade is separated into three bays by pilasters topped with spherical concrete finials. The facade has decorative brickwork in its upper facade, and is topped with a concrete cap. The front entry expanse, originally the bay door to the garage, has been filled and faced with stone siding and a modern pedestrian door has been added. The original display windows on the front facade have been filled in with stone facing, and the windows replaced with smaller fixed-panes. The side window openings are covered with corrugated fiberglass, and a brick addition exists on the east facade of the building. The building is currently operated as the Allenton Metal Finishing Corporation."
