Additional Information: | The summer Kitchen/Smokehouse was probably built at or near the time that the house was constructed. It was a small rectangular building with a gable roof and early, kiln-dried red brick walls. In 2004 a windstorm toppled the building which was in fraagile condition. As of 2005 the Friends of Saxonia House, Inc. plan to accurately reconstruct the this outbuilding. Ernst Klessig was the builder. |
