It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation. 2016- The 1939 Washington Park Recreation Center was originally the pool house for the former Washington Park Pool. Designed by Racine architect J. Mandor Matson and constructed by the WPA, it is clad in cream brick with decorative corbeling and features ornamental concrete panels around its windows and doors. The building also has infilled windows and a large 1982 addition at the rear. It is now known as the Tyler Domer Community Center and serves as a gymnasium and neighborhood gathering place. A modern playground is located to the west of the building and modern tennis courts, built over the former swimming pool, flank its south side. DECORATIVE BRICK CORNICE. GEOMETRIC CUT STONE TRIM.
