NOTES
Additional Information:2024 DESCRIPTION The former shop was constructed in 1952 at the northeast corner of E. Pittsburgh Avenue and S. Barclay Streets. The building is a two-story a-stylistic utilitarian industrial building; it is rectangular in plan with a flat roof and an exterior of brick laid in common bond. A stairwell penthouse has been constructed at the northwest corner of the roofline to provide access to a rooftop patio; a metal and cable railing has been installed along the perimeter of the roof. The primary entrance has been retrofitted into the former vehicular entrance in the west elevation facing S. Barclay Street. The windows throughout the building have been replaced with metal sash windows that, to a degree, mimic the light configuration and function of the original windows. --- Dahlman Construction Co. was the builder. 2016 - replacement windows and doors. Two-story brick shop has wide window bands and a flat roof.
