NOTES
Additional Information:The full photo code is 10-40/24. This structure is a fine example of a late 19th century English Country Gothic Revival church. It appears to utilize the "Akron" plan of pews arranged in concentric rows instead of the traditional nave and side aisles. The Methodist chruch in general seems to prefer this orientation. Less formal than most Milwaukee churches, it is an important contribution to the religious building heritage of the city. Peter Clos was the builder. The German Methodist Episcopal Congregation owned the buiding in 1893.
