Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. Mason was Northern Construction. Builder was Schmidt. Congregation was established in 1910 by Reverend William K. Frick of the English Church of the Redeemer on 16th St. They first met at Farwell Hall at 2340 N. Farwell. The current building was supposedly designed after a chapel near London. The stained glass is by T.C. Esser. The chapel was added in 1950. Erhard Stoettner designed the sanctuary. Lake Park Lutheran Church is a fine example of a small neighborhood church. It is designed in the restrained, severe English mode of the Jacobethan.
