Bibliographic References: | Milwaukee Journal 4/14/1929, p. 7, sec. 5. Original K-E building erected (west end of structure) in 1906 (permit, 2 April 1906). In 1923 (permit, 22 June 1923), a three-story addition was added to the existing building to the east (but which did not extend all the way to the intersection) and the front of the 1906 building and other previous building was faced with terra cotta. finally, in 1929 (permit, 20 August 1929), the existing building at the corner was razed and an addition made, which was faced like the rest of the building. |
