Well designed urban park bordering Spring Creek designed by University of Wisconsin professor of landscape architecture Franz Aust and developed with WPA labor and funding in 1937-1942. Initiated by Dr. T. Goeres, president-owner of the Lodi Canning Co. and named in his honor as a result.

This was previously surveyed in 1999. The previous map code was 76/35. A new map code was assigned in 2005 to correlate to WisDOT project 5777-00-72-no new photo was assigned.
