Bridge now carries the Elroy-Sparta State Trail. 2020: The Missouri Avenue Bridge (P-41-211) was constructed in 1880 by the Chicago & Northwestern Railroad. It is a 1-span spandrel arch bridge of stone block construction. The span measures approximately 37 feet and features small ringstones with a central keystone featuring the inscribed year “1880.” Tapered wingwalls project from each corner of the bridge. stone arch bridge
