Map Code 0709-224-1111-4. Brick building of 1949 is in a Moderne-International Style combination. A demolition permit application was filed on February 5, 2014. Partial demolition of the existing facility is required for the Beth Israel Center Renovation and Addition project. Demolition includes all existing windows which will be replaced with new windows. The East end of the existing building will also be removed to allow for the addition of a new expanded sanctuary with classrooms below which will expand the current building footprint. A building setback variance has been obtained for this purpose.
