Additional Information:A 'site file' exists for this property. It contains additional information such as correspondence, newspaper clippings, or historical information. It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. This building replaced the former Cambridge House after 1909. Originally had six curbside gas pumps. Automobile showroom could hold 25 cars. Thronson's operated under the family name into the 1970s. From the mid-1970s until sometime in the 1980s, the Cambridge News utilized a portion of the building for printing. After that, the building was divided into separate shops.
