Additional Information: | A bracketed cornice with a diamond patterned frieze and stone lintels above the second story windows detail this building. In 1902, the east half of the building belonged to Amanda Wigdale, who leased it to Herman Kravik and Edward Omsgard for their general store and the west half was owned by the Prescott Estate. By 1907, Ole Jarlsburg owned the west half and operated a clothing store until at least the 1930s. Sometime after WWII Edgar Strohbusch purchased the entire building and maintained a variety store on the west half and leased the east half for a grocery store. The spaces were consolidated in the 1950s. |
