It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, Division of Historic Preservation-Public History. Demolished 11/1989. A nineteenth century Milwaukee Fire Dept. Engine House, constructed of Cream City brick (now painted) with double projecting bays and deorated cornice. The integrity of the original structure is preserved, except for the change to the first floor facade (original garage openings can still be seen). City of Milwaukee owned this engine house in 1888. |
