Additional Information: | The warehouse at 634 W. Main was built after a Feb. 12, 1915 fire destroyed building. (Front page story of fire in WSJ,1915-02-13.) This building was constructed some time between 1915-17. Madison's Urban Design Commission has public record of 2011 application for a Legacy Signage Approval by building's owner. On page 7, is a Summary History of the old GW&B Co bldg by Gary Tipler.
