Additional Information:2010: This one-story, commercial vernacular building has common brick side elevations and face brick on the primary (northwest) elevation. The building features a modest parapet, plate-glass primary facade windows and a recessed entrance.

Constructed circa 1920, the subject building was originally used as a public garage. By the late 1930s it served as an auto repair shop and was a distribution center for Capitol Records from at least 1950 until the early 1960s. It is now a bar/concert hall known as Shank Hall.

Surveyed in 1986 with map code 260/20. No map name given.
