Additional Information: | This 2-story Commercial Vernacular building was constructed as a pharmacy in 1910. It is rectangular in plan with stucco walls and a flat roof with castellated parapet. Primary elevations face southwest and southeast with the main entrance recessed at the southern corner. The door is accessed by a concrete stoop. Shop windows are located at the first story of both primary elevations; a large painted signboard is located at the first story of the southwest elevation. The second story contains unevenly fenestrated 1-over-1 windows. The interior of the building contains a drop ceiling and a linoleum floor with modern shelving and other installations; no original features remain to indicate the property's original function as a pharmacy (the building currently houses a grocery store). Resurveyed August 2012; no visible changes. |
