Additional Information: | This four story Neoclassical style apartment building was built in 1910 and designed by architects Leister & Holst. The building is clad in brick with stone sills, lintels, and trim. The front door is centered in the north (National Ave.) elevation and consists of a wood framed door with sidelights and transom. The door has a simple classical frame surround with a small cornice. The door is flanked by shallow three-sided bay windows, inset into the thickness of the masonry walls. Open porches are located at the front corners on all four stories of the front elevation. Windows throughout the building appear to be modern replacements. The building is capped with a painted metal and brick cornice, and a low stepped parapet with corbelled decoration. |
