NOTES
Additional Information:Built between 1900-1901 the structure housed the "Henry Beaver General Store". The store was reportedly the first in the area to sell home appliances such as kerosene stoves. Henry was president of Port Washington's Merchants' Advancement Association and as a Port Washington alderman. By the mid-1950s, groceries were drpped from the inventory while the store was under control of Henry's son Vincent. In 1979, while being run by Vincent's son Joe, the firm was the second oldest GE dealer in Wisconsin. It is currently known as Biever's Maytag Home Appliance Center.
