It is a public record and may be viewed in person at the Wisconsin Historical Society, State Historic Preservation Office. The Gridley Dairy Co. was founded by Leander Lot Gridley. He first settled in Wauwatosa at Ludington Farm in 1839 and died in 1906. His dairy company was later bought by the Borden Co. of New York. The John Hennes Trucking Co., a local Milwaukee company, was once housed in this building but moved out in 1955. 2016 - two-story brick building with peaked parapet and corbelled cornice, bands of small windows along upper story of facade, lower story openings downsized. Oversize bay door on north facade. Replacement windows throughout. The east elevation is covered with corrugated metal. The west elevation has an infilled upper story freight door with freight hoist.
