Additional Information: | BRACKETS UNDER EAVES. Previously surveyed in 1975 and mapped as 62 on DOT SHARON. The 1902 photo shows the home with its three-story tower, which was likely a later addition. The National Register nomination incorrectly identifies the original owner of this home as J.B. Wise. While Wise was indeed the owner in 1902, as the photo indicates, William Sanderson was the original owner. Again, Sanderson's home would have been Greek Revival in character and it transformed into its Italianate character after his tenure. |
