| Additional Information: | IONIC COLUMNS ON FRONT 2025: The First National Bank facade is all that remains of the two-story, 1915, Neoclassical building constructed of limestone blocks atop marble. The majority of the building has been demolished, leaving behind only the front (west) facade that provides access to a small grassy lawn with a sidewalk and wood benches surrounded by decorative shrubbery. It includes a corbelled cornice that reads “1865, First National Bank, 1915” and two prominent ionic columns that flank a central pedimented entrance opening. On either side of the columns are small window openings with decorative metal and secondary entrance openings. All windows and entrance doors have been removed. |
