Additional Information: | Built as the New California Hotel in 1899, replacing the old hotel that had burned. Around 1920, it was renamed the Broadway Hotel. By the mid 1900s, the building had been converted into the Lee Department Store. A Large rear ell that was once the hotel's livery is still extant in 2000 and has been remodeled into commercial space. 2017: Second and third-floor windows replaced again. |
