This cohesive group of six buildings generally related in design, scale and materials was built between 1854 and 1911 and linked with Milton Academy. Four buildings are constructed of brick in Italianate style and one in Eclectic Revival style. The liberal arts college, which was significant for its contribution to teacher education, closed in 1983 and the buildings are being adaptively re-used. |
