Built between 1855 and 1910 during Stoughton's heyday of commercial prosperity, this district of 29 two- and three-story brick buildings designed in Italianate, Renaissance Revival and Classical Revival styles covers two uninterrupted blocks of Main Street. The unity of scale, material and detail creates a harmonious Victorian street facade.
