SUMMARY
Encompassing about one-half of the city's historic downtown business district, this district contains 37 multi-story buildings constructed mostly of brick between 1865 and 1930 in Italianate, Richardsonian Romanesque, High Victorian Gothic, Commercial, Art Deco and Classical Revival styles. The district played an important role in the historic commercial activity of Fond du Lac.
