Only 19 residences remain of the original 200 modest homes built between 1902 and 1907 from employees of the Kissel Motor Car Company. Located on the gently rolling terrain of the southwest quadrant of the city, the hoses are variations of vernacular front gable, side gable, cross gable and gabled ell forms with prominent front porches.
