Two Men Delivering Couch to Furniture Store

Two Men Delivering Couch to Furniture Store | Photograph | Wisconsin Historical Society
Two men are delivering a couch from Mastercraft Furniture Corporation of Omaha, Nebraska to a furniture store. The men are outside carrying the couch towards the store entrance, and their delivery vehicle is a diesel powered International Harvester Fleetstar 2000-D. "Mastercraft of Omaha" can be seen on the side of the trailer. In the background many parked cars and an American flag can be seen. The original caption reads: "Delivery to Omaha's Paramount Furniture Store (above) illustrates trucks' direct-to-outlet service. To cut fuel costs, firm's linkups use air shields, fitted to top of 2000-D cabs, in concert with vortex stabilizers, which are mounted on vans' fronts. Together they reduce wind 'drag.'"
