Truck Towing Parade Float
Thanksgiving Day Parade, either Macy's Parade in Manhattan, New York, or Gimbels' Parade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A yellow and brown International Harvester Scout 4x4 is towing a parade float resembling a steamboat that is colored red, white, and blue, with men dressed in what may be Confederate soldier uniforms. Other men dressed in red jackets and yellow hats with black bands are sitting on the side of the float, and there is a staircase leading up to a second level. Spectators line the sidewalks along the street under numerous billboards and neon signs. |
