Parade with Raggedy Andy and Smokey the Bear Floats
Thanksgiving Day Parade, either Macy's Parade in Manhattan, New York, or Gimbels' Parade in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. A red and white International Harvester Scout 4x4 is towing a parade float with Raggedy Ann (partially out of frame) and Andy in a field of flowers. Children in costume are on the front of the float. Other members of the parade are walking beside the float, and in the background is a second float with a large Smokey the Bear character with his customary hat and shovel. |
