Young Girl with '76 Flag Watching Truck Caravan
Seven-year-old LuRae Criscione watches the International Harvester United States Armed Forces Bicentennial Caravan. LuRae is dressed in red, white, and blue clothes with a large '76 flag in one hand and a miniature flag in the other. She is sitting by the side of a road while watching the procession of International Transtar II heavy-duty trucks. The trucks were part of an eighteen month caravan to honor the United States Bicentennial and armed forces. The caption for the color photo reads: "Since caravan made debut in July before Washington, the above scene has been common sight, coast to coast." |
