IH Employee with Model of Louisville Foundry
IH employee Linda Younger is standing with a scale model of a modernized foundry for the company's Louisville Works. The original caption reads: "International Harvester's Foundry Division has announced a $26.3 million modernization program at its Louisville Foundry. Heart of the program is a highly sophisticated molding system capable of producing in excess of 100 gray iron castings per hour that weigh up to 1,000 pounds. Here, Linda Younger, a Louisville Foundry purchasing department employee, views a scale model of the molding system. Construction will begin later this year and will be complete in late 1980." |
