Caption that ran with photo, "'Let's Hear It For Snoopy!'-A group of youngsters from the 7400 and 7500 blocks of N. 89th and 90th Streets demonstrated Tuesday for 'Snoopy for President.' The demonstration urged neighborhood residents to vote for the dog made famous by the 'Peanuts' comic strip. The group was led by Randy Becker (right), who lives at 7505 N. 90th Street." Snoopy is the dog of Charlie Brown, a character in the Peanuts cartoon strip by Charles M. Schulz. |
