Director Nick Grinde (in two-tone shoes) and 15 members of his film crew pose for a MGM production still. Present are a woman playing the harmonium (far left), a still photographer and his 8 x 10 inch view camera (right), carpenters, painters, lighting technicians, and two motion picture cameramen. Directly behind Grinde is a Bell & Howell model 2709 camera, probably cranked by George Gordon Nogle, and to the right, a Mitchell camera probably cranked by Arthur Reed. The film may have been "Beyond the Sierras." |
