A bride walks down the aisle in the United Church of Christ/Congregational Church in Delavan. An usher stands to the right in the background. A painting of Jesus is behind him. Through the open door, the decorated wedding car can be seen.<p>The bride sewed her wedding dress from a Vogue Couturier Design pattern, #1155, option "C," designed by Belinda Bellville. The pattern was purchased at Northwest Fabrics. The material for the dress was purchased at the Swiss Miss Textile Mart in New Glarus.<p>The wedding dress, veil, and pattern are in the collection of the Wisconsin Historical Society (2012.195.1-2).</p>
DESCRIPTION
