Political poster promoting Calvin Coolidge and Charles Dawes for president and vice-president. Below is, "A Vote for Coolidge and Dawes Safeguards Our Constitution and Our Flag." On the right side is a cartoon of Robert La Follette, Sr., waving a red flag, a man named Wheeler appears behind him. La Follette is saying, "We Demand A New Flag And A New Constitution." The ghosts of Teddy Roosevelt and Abraham Lincoln are standing on their graves. Roosevelt is holding the American flag. Lincoln is pointing and saying, "That Flag and That Government of the People Shall not Perish From the Earth!" Below is the text "The enemies of the American institutions are waving the Red Flag of Sovietism. Eugene V. Debs has declared the Keynote of the Third Party Socialist Ticket. A vote for Calvin Coolidge safeguards the Stars and Stripes and Constitutional Government." On the bottom of both sides is the text, "Keep America American." |
