"McCormick Day"

Crowd gathered on the main street to witness the delivery of McCormick binders, mowers and other machines to customers. McCormick Harvesting Machine Company agents organized these events — which often included parades, music and food — to publicize the company and its products. This "McCormick Day" was organized by agents Gullickson and Thompson. A boy is holding a sign proclaiming: "McCormick binders, mowers and rakes, the Dewey of them all." |
