G.A.R. Memorial Hall
Exterior view of G.A.R. (Grand Army of the Republic) Memorial Hall at 118 Monona Avenue (Martin Luther King Boulevard). The building was three windows wide and three stories tall. On the ground floor are two arched windows and an arched doorway. High up on the side of the building is a painted advertisement for Northwest Mutual Insurance Company. There is a metal fire escape on the front of the building. On the side of the building is temporary scaffolding. On the left side is a partial view of the Elks Club building, with a two-story porch with a Greek-style pillar and peaked roof. |
