Fayette Hotel
A car is parked alongside the hotel in Fayette. Four men pose near the front porch. As advertised by a large sign, the hotel housed the Fayette Post Office. Other signs identify the building as the Fayette Tourists Lodge and advertise ice cream. Abandoned by the Jackson Iron Company in 1891, Fayette soon became a tourist destination. The site is now a state park. |
