Commercial Map of Wisconsin and Portions of Adjoining States
A hand-colored commercial map of Wisconsin and portions of eastern Minnesota, Iowa, northern Illinois, and the Michigan’s Upper Peninsula. The map shows railroads, cities, villages, rivers, and lakes, as well as the commercial routes on lakes Michigan and Superior. The map includes a number of inset maps of the Republic of Panama, Panama Canal and maps of the US showing locations of forested areas, areas growing grain, wheat, and corn, and other commercial interests. The map also shows tables and graphs displaying the distances between cities in Wisconsin and the values of industries in Wisconsin. |
